Police looking stolen tractor and suspects in 100 Mile House

Police in the South Cariboo are looking for a pair of thieves and a stolen tractor.

The 100 Mile House RCMP received a report that a 1955 Fordson Major Diesel Tractor was stolen from a property in the 5000 Block of Helena Lake Road on Monday, July 20.

Police say the theft occurred at around 5:30 p.m., and two males were seen driving white pickup trucks onto the property and looking around before taking the tractor.

The first man is described as Caucasian with shaved blonde hair, a pockmarked face, and a slim build, standing around 6 feet tall.

The second man is described as having dark olive skin, black chin-length hair, and a slim 6-foot tall build as well.

Police say the suspects left the property with the tractor loaded with a trailer of one of the white pick-ups before driving away.

Anyone with information on the drivers or have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to call the RCMP detachment.
