Male with outstanding arrest warrants from Langley arrested by 100 Mile House RCMP

A report of a suspicious motorhome parked in a parking lot on the 100 block of Highway 97 in the South Cariboo led to an arrest.

100 Mile House RCMP Sargeant Brian Lamb said on July 17 it was reported that numerous people were observed coming and going from it.

“Police attended and spoke with three occupants of the vehicle,” Lamb said, “Items associated to drug use and drug trafficking were observed and all three occupants were detained.”

Lamb said the male owner of the vehicle was found to have outstanding arrest warrants from Langley for violent offences and was subsequently arrested.

He said a search of the vehicle yielded no drugs and the male was held in custody.
