Motorists in the South Cariboo urged to watch out for unpredictable wildlife

100 Mile House RCMP said they’ve been called to several collisions involving deer the past several weeks on area roads and Highway 97.

“On Monday (June 22) Police received a report of a single vehicle rollover on Easzee Drive,” Sargeant Brian Lamb said, “RCMP attended with BC Emergency Health Services where a single occupant advised of swerving to miss a deer and then lost control before overturning in the ditch.”

Lamb said the driver sustained no reported injuries.

Police urge motorists to be vigilant for the unpredictable wildlife.
