RCMP respond to convenience store robbery

Quesnel RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at a convenience store this morning.
Sergeant Darren Dodge, says RCMP are treating the 4:30 am incident which took place on the 200 block of Anderson drive in which the clerk was threatened with a small ax as serious.
The suspect who is described as Caucasian, wearing a black hoodie, dark cap, jeans, and white basketball shoes, fled on foot making away with a small amount of cash, lottery tickets, and 5 cartons of cigarettes.
