Quesnel Looking For Citizen Of Year Nominations

Quesnel is looking for nominations for Quesnel’s Volunteer Citizen of the Year.

City Councillor Ron Paull, the Chair of the Committee, says the deadline is on March 27th…

“I know that Quesnel is a last minute town. Last year I remember having this very same interview and we were right up on the wire and all of a sudden everything happened and i think we ended up with 4 or 5 nominees, which was great, so I hope the same thing happens again this year.”

Forms to nominate someone are available at City Hall.

The Citizen of the Year banquet will take place on April 26th in the Billy Barker Casino showroom.

This event has been going on since 1980.
