A few Quesnel athletes, all members of the Cariboo Ski Touring Club, made the podium at BC Cup Biathlon races out at Hallis Lake on the weekend.
Claire Elden was 2nd out of 14 competitors in the Juvenile Girl’s 3 Kilometre Individual race on Saturday and 2nd out of 12 just 26 seconds off the lead in Sunday’s 2 Kilometre Sprint.
Ryan Elden was 2nd out of 11 in the Senior Boys 6-K Sprint just 22.7 seconds out of first.
He was also 4th out of 12 in the Individual race.
For Senior Girls….Anni Kurta was 3rd in the 6K Sprint followed by teammate Kyra Teetzen in 4th.
They were also 4th and 5th respectively in the Individual race.
The next races are coming up on the 24th and 25th in Whistler.
