Williams Lake Athlete Wins Gold At X Games

A Williams Lake athlete has struck gold at the X Games in Aspen, Colorado.

Brock Hoyer, a pioneer in the sport, was first overall in Snow BikeCross.

He also won his heat en route to the finals.

Hoyer, who originally made his mark in dirt bike racing, initially saw snow bikes as a way to train year-round near his home.
