Suspects arrested in weapons and explosives seizure to make 1st Court Appearance

Three people arrested in Williams Lake on Wednesday are scheduled to make their first court appearance today.

Tye Christopher Jones, James Robert Juke and Dyami Diana Rickman where found to be possession of a number of restricted weapons including a hand gun and several long guns as well as other prohibited weapons when they were pulled over Wednesday, December 16th. Once a complete vehicle check was made, police also uncovered a number of home-made explosives, or pipe bombs.

Police called in the Explosives Disposal Unit to dispose of the explosives.

Jones and Rickman each face 11 charges while Juke is facing 21.
