100 Mile House RCMP looking for witnesses in collision

A recent collision between a vehicle and a hydro pole in 100 Mile House is raising a few questions.

According to the RCMP the collision happened on November 21st near Keene Road and Highway 97 but upon arrival it was learned that the vehicle had in fact been abandoned on November 18th around 10pm.

A query of databases determined the 1998 Toyota Tacoma had been reported as stolen from Delta, BC early last week.

The plate attached to the vehicle was also reported as stolen out of Delta at the same time.

The vehicle was seized by RCMP and is being forensically examined.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is being asked to call the 100 Mile House RCMP at 250-395-2456.
