Williams Lake RCMP continue to investigate a stabbing that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.
At approximately 3:14 the male victim came out of a residence on fourth avenue south suffering from a neck wound.
Staff Sargeant Del Byron said an RCMP officer was in the area conducting a traffic stop and called BC Ambulance Service who administered first aid.
A female was taken into custody and the male was taken to hospital where the stab wound was determined to be superficial.
