Anonymous Donor Challenges Quesnel Residents

An anonymous donor is trying to help out the Quesnel Community Foundation.

Bob Lebeck, the President, says a donor has pledged to match endowment donations up to 50-thousand dollars.

The deadline to donate is December 10th.

Lebeck says the endowment has now topped 2.1 million dollars and it’s the interest and earnings from that that goes back into the community in the form of grants.

He says they gave out approximately 70 thousand dollars last year and Lebeck says they expect that number to grow this coming year.

People can donate on-line at [email protected] or mail in some money to PO Box 4185.
