It’s not often you get to spend quality, close up time with an Olympian medalist.
But today fans and supporters of Williams Lake’s own Kayla Moleschi will get that chance.
A parade followed by rugby events at Marie Sharpe Elementary School in honor of her accomplishment is something Moleschi doesn’t take for granted.
“It really does mean the world to me having all the fans and supporters out there. I’m definitely going to be like running around, if I’m not taking tons of photos. Bring your cameras out, we’ll be taking lots of photo’s and I’ll be sharing my medal with the community”.
The parade gets going this morning at ten starting from Williams Lake City Hall.
