100 Mile House residents were concerned by more than just snowfall this morning.
Fire trucks sped through the town with sirens on to attend the Ainsworth site after the power went out.
The presence of the fire department is just a precaution according to Rick Takagi, the site manager at Ainsworth.
“When we fire back up systematically and when we open up certain processes there could be a chance something might happen.”
“We just have them here as a precaution.”
Power is expected back at the plant before the end of the day.
