Mailbox Mischief in 100 Mile House

RCMP in 100 Mile House were recently called to report of mischief to mailboxes in the area of HWY97 and Wutke Road.

According to police 9 mailboxes had been damaged and forced open on August17 although it is not clear if any mail or other items were taken from the boxes.

CPL Brian Lamb says this incident may possibly be related to mischief of mailboxes earlier in August.

“I would say that there is a good chance they are connected, it seems like the method of damages has been consistent, we don’t have any suspects at the moment.”

RCMP are asking residents who obtain their mail at that location to contact Canada Post regarding any missing mail as well as contacting the RCMP to report any possibility of fraudulent use of identity as of a result of the incident.
