No Need For Recount Says Pinkney

It sounds like today’s deadline for official recount challenges will be uneventful in 100 Mile House.

Mayoral challenger Maureen Pinkney says she does not feel a need to challenge the results.

“There’s really no point in recounting, I’m sure that we’ve counted the ballots correctly. There’s a lot of people there as it’s being counted. I just wish all the incumbents good luck in the 4 years, and I encourage everyone to keep on with their goals.”

Pinkney’s campaign for mayor was defeated by a slim 10 vote margin by incumbent Mitch Campsall.
