Volunteers took to the Cariboo Memorial Complex Saturday morning to help stuff 4,000 bags for the BC Elders Gathering which kickoffs today.
Among the more than 100 volunteers who helped complete the project before noon was Cariboo-Chilcotin MLA, Donna Barnett.
The opening of tent city above the Williams Lake Stampede grounds, and two arts and craft venues is at noon with a Wild Wild West Rodeo at the Williams Lake Stampede Grounds starting at 5 pm.
