Quesnel Boxers Perform Well In Nelson

Quesnel boxers went 2 for 3 at an event in Nelson on Saturday night.
Olin ‘Tager’ Lee, the number three ranked light middleweight in Canada, won his main event bout against Israel Alvarez from Spokane, Washington, who is number two in the United States.
Lee won a split decision.
Nick Kwiakowski, also a member of the Two Rivers Boxing Club, also won a split decision over Peyton Mollegg from Cranbrook.
Dayton Swaan was on the short end of yet another split decision against a Calgary fighter.
10-year old “Iron” Emmett Emblau earned a draw in his fight and “Irish” Shawn Archer was involved in an exhibition match.
