Virtual golf is coming to Quesnel

Quesnel residents will soon be able to golf all year round.
Tee Time Virtual Golf is hoping to open its doors later this month in the old Salvation Army building downtown on McLean Street.
Cristal Moxley, the co-owner along with her son Austin, says they are targeting November 15th.
She says they will have three state-of-the-art simulators.
“They’re going to pick whatever course they want to golf on.  We have 400 world famous courses to chose from.  You have your own private little bay with your own seating area, and you hit the ball like you normally would.  It hits the screen and the launch monitors take it from there.”
Moxley suggests that people download the Trackman app prior to coming.
“It will save time when you come in.  If you have the Trackman app it’s going to save all of your data in there and if they’re going to be a recurring customer it’s just a little bit quicker in the long run.”
Moxley says people can bring their own clubs and there will also be clubs to rent.
She says they will have snacks and the plan is to possibly partner with a restaurant for food.
   They will also be licensed.
Moxley says they plan to open Tuesday through Sunday and be open from 8 until 8 most days and until 11 on Fridays and Saturdays.
She says people can book tee times by go on-line or calling. (778-414-1066)
