Quesnel product earns a point in Caps game 1 victory

The Northern Capitals need just one more win for back to back BC Female Midget AAA Hockey championships thanks to a 4-2 victory over the Greater Vancouver Comets on Friday.

The Comets held a 1-0 after the opening period thanks to a goal from Elexa Pakozdy.

In the second, the Caps offense would come to life thanks to a pair of goals from Hunter Mosher and Myah Bowal.

Rielle Wiebe evened the score for the Comets who would make it a 2-2 after 40 minutes.

Bowal and Mosher would strike again for the Caps icing the game 1 victory.

Sydney Jordan of Quesnel picked an assist in the victory.

The Caps lead the best of three final 1-0 and play game 2 Saturday at noon in Coquitlam.
