100 Mile Police Arrest Man in Lac La Hache on Outstanding Warrants

A man was arrested in Lac La Hache on multiple outstanding warrants from Williams Lake and Alexis Creek.

100 Mile House RCMP say they observed a man and a woman near a vehicle parked on the side of Highway 97 on May 24.

“It was determined that the registered owner of the vehicle, who matched the male had outstanding warrants,” says Sergeant Brian Lamb. “When police attempted to speak with the man, who fled into a wooded area.”

A police dog and helicopter were called in to aid in searching for the man through the area. Lamb says the man was located and arrested.

The man’s outstanding warrants were held in Williams Lake and Alexis Creek. The warrants were for Utter Threats, Mischief, Obstruction, and Breach of Conditions.

Lamb says no new charges have been laid, and the woman has not been charged.
