RCMP are searching for a man associated with a van that was found rolled over in a ditch on Monday [April 28], just north of Watch Lake.
100 Mile House RCMP responded to a call early in the morning of a vehicle found rolled over in a ditch near the Watch Lake Transfer Station.
Sgt. Brian Lamb says police found a brown 1997 Toyota Previa van, which, upon inspection, had not been uninsured since 1997.
Lamb says police also found and seized drug paraphernalia and contraband cigarettes upon the vehicle’s inspection.
Police were told, when the call was reported, that a male had been seen walking away from the rolled-over van, but the police have not been able to locate the male, nor have a description.
RCMP ask anyone with information on the incident or anyone with a Toyota Previa to contact the 100 Mile House Detachment.
