Quesnel RCMP attended an unusual accident under the CN Rail bridge this morning.
Cst. Brent Dooks tells us what happened…
Dooks says it was fortunate that no one was hurt.
He says CN Rail had stopped trains from running and closed the bridge until its structural integrity could be determined.
CN Rail and Spokesperson Emily Haymer confirmed that engineers have inspected the bridge and given it a clean bill of health and trains are once again running.
Dooks says there was a minor hydraulic fuel spill which the City helped clean up.
