Court House In Williams Lake Damaged Over The Weekend

North District Corporal Madonna Saunderson said on Saturday October 5th police received a report of mischief to property.

The front entrance doors to the court house had been smashed sometime overnight. “The exterior set of glass entrance doors had been shattered and a 2-foot-long piece of pipe was found at the scene.”

Saunderson said the inner set of entrance doors were still locked and secured and no entry into the building had been made.

CCTV footage was reviewed by police and showed a suspect fleeing the scene on foot.

Anyone with information on this incident or were in the area and saw something suspicious is asked to call the Williams Lake RCMP.
