A man was struck by a truck on Highway 97, 40 kilometres south of Quesnel, when he was jumping into traffic. Quesnel RCMP say the man was airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

The highway was closed for several hours but has since re-opened to single-lane alternating.

After more than a week of searching the wilds, RCMP and the Quesnel Search and Rescue (QSAR) say the missing man from Williams Lake, who was last seen on July 29th, has been found alive.

Williams Lake RCMP are asking the Public's assistance in locating Andrew Barber, last seen in Riske Creek. Andrew Barber, 39 years old, was last seen on July 28, 2025.

A driver driving for too long and falling asleep behind the wheel is believed to have been a factor in a double vehicle collision that sent two people to the hospital in 100 Mile House on July 29.

Williams Lake RCMP responded on Thursday July 4th to a report of a suspicious male in a parking lot on First Avenue North.

100 Mile House RCMP responded to a break and enter on July 18, where a boat and two all-terrain vehicles were stolen, and signs of forced entry were observed. Police ask if anyone has any information or has seen a white boat being transported from the area of Tatton Helena Lake Forest Service Road in the last two months to call the 100 Mile House RCMP detachment.

B.C.’s police watchdog is investigating an incident in Maple Ridge that left three people dead Wednesday night.
