Cariboo themed mural being worked on by 6 Williams Lake artisans

Work on one of the longest murals in the Province is underway in Williams Lake. The 240 foot long Cariboo themed artwork is being painted on the back wall of the Cariboo Regional District building where residents of AgeCare Cariboo Place can see it from their rooms and other parts of the facility.

There are 5 active wildfires in the Cariboo Fire Centre and all are listed as Under Control. Fire Information Officer Donna MacPhearson said crews have been able to take advantage of the cooler weather.
