There are 5 active wildfires in the Cariboo Fire Centre and all are listed as Under Control.
Fire Information Officer Donna MacPhearson said crews have been able to take advantage of the cooler weather.
The Cariboo Fire Centre has provided an update on the wildfires across the region. Currently, there are five fires across the Cariboo, with one listed as 'Out of Control'. That is the Hotnarko Lake Fire, reported to be 60.2 hectares in size.
BC Wildfire Service personnel continue to action the Snaking River wildfire 65 kilometres West of Quesnel.
Cariboo Fire Information Officer Amanda Cullum said it remains at 1168 hectares in size as the past 2 days of cooler temperatures and increased humidity has helped moderate fire behaviour.
A wildfire believed to have been caused by a lightning strike has been spotted in the Quesnel Highland near Jack of Clubs Lake in the District of Wells. The fire is 1.5 hectares in size.
