Another Evacuation Alert lifted in the Chilcotin
The Evacuation Alert for the Nuntsi Creek Fire area issued by the Xeni Gwet'in First Nation Government, Tsilhqot'in National Government and the Cariboo Regional District has been lifted.
Xeni-Taseko Evacuation Alert lifted
The Evacuation Alert for the Xeni-Taseko Area has been lifted. The Alert was issued by the Xeni Gwet'in First Nation Government, Tŝilhqot’in National Government and the Cariboo Regional District on September 13, 2025 at 9:15 p.m.

Emergency Operations Centre lifts 2 Evacuation Alerts
Earlier today (September 23) the Cariboo Regional District Emergency Operations Centre lifted the Alert issued back on August 31st for the Tsetzi Lake Fire area 125 kilometres west of Quesnel to an all clear.
Suey Bay Evacuation Alert lifted
The Cariboo Regional District Emergency Operations Centre lifted today (September 22) the Suey Bay Fire Area Evacuation Alert.
Active wildfires update for the Cariboo Fire Centre
As of yesterday (Friday) there are currently 22 active wildfires within the Cariboo Fire Centre.
Weather increased fire activity on the Suey Bay Wildfire
The Suey Bay wildfire on Horsefly Lake is estimated to be 2,331 hectares in size.
Evac Alert in Holtry Creek Lifted
The Ulkatcho First Nation and the Cariboo Regional District have rescinded the Evacuation Alert in the Holtry Creek Fire Area. The Alert was issued on September 16 and included portions of the Dusty Lake Fire Zone, approximately 310 km west of Williams Lake. The alert covered 65 parcels and 26,826 hectares.
Suey Bay fire area issued an Evacuation Alert
The Cariboo Regional District at the Emergency Operations Centre issued an Evacuation Alert for the Suey Bay Fire area on Horsefly Lake.
Multiple Evacuation Alerts and Orders Lifted in Cariboo Fire Centre
The Evacuation Orders in the Beef Trail Creek Area and Area 2, the Dusty Lake Area, and Charlotte Lake Area have been Lifted by local First Nations Bands and the Cariboo Regional District on September 16.
Beef Trail Creek & Dusty Lake wildfire update
Both the Beef Trail Creek and Dusty Lake wildfires in the Chilcotin were quite stable over the weekend.
