A date for sentencing has been set for a man who was found guilty of second degree murder in Quesnel.
53-year old Joseph Simpson is due back in Supreme Court on October 1st.
Simpson also pleaded guilty to a charge of interference with a dead body at the tart of his trial.
He was charged in connection with the death of 33-year old Carmelita Abraham who was reported missing by her family back on January 4th of 2022.
Investigators determined that she had left Williams Lake for Quesnel about a week prior to that.
RCMP said at the time that the victim and the suspect were known to each other.
