RCMP investigate series of thefts

RCMP in Williams Lake responded to two reports of stolen pickups yesterday both of which involved Dodge Rams.

Staff/Sgt. Del Byron says a 1999 Dodge Ram was reported stolen from the 600 block of midnight drive at 11:10 am.

Police believe the theft to have occurred between 10 pm and midnight. The vehicle’s license plate number is JM1685

A 2001 dodge ram reported stolen from Hodgson Road meanwhile was located on Bond Lake Road in a snow bank.

Also reported stolen yesterday was a jackall from the bed of a pickup on the 700 block of Borland Avenue. Police later recovered it at a local pawn shop.

Byron says another theft occurred on the 3000 block of Dog Creek Road with a black 97 Polaris Storm RMK snowmobile reported stolen at 1:30 am.
