Cariboo archers in line for medals at Lhtako Quesnel 2024 BC Winter Games

Three Cariboo athletes have a good shot at medals in archery at the Lhtako Quesnel 2024 BC Winter Games.
Lily Fraser from 150 Mile leads the female compound midway through that event with a score of 559 out of 600 on opening day.
That is 11 shots clear of 2nd.
Kayla Erickson from Quesnel leads the female recurve midway through that event, but by just one point.
And Kayden D’Entrenont, also from Quesnel, is 2nd in the male compound, one point out of first.
All three will shoot for medals tomorrow. (Saturday)
The Zone 8 ringette team, which includes 6 Quesnel Players, will play in the semi-finals tomorrow.
They beat a combined Zone 6-7 team 8 to 3 today to improve to 1 and 1 overall.
Grace Cassidy from Quesnel scored twice and the Captain, Elyse Anderson from Quesnel, had a goal and 2 assists.
And still on the ice, Talana Brown-John from Williams Lake skipped her rink to a convincing 12-1 in their first game in female curling.
Kelsey Camille from Williams Lake is also on that team.
   They will play twice tomorrow.
