What will the population of Quesnel, Williams Lake, 100 Mile look like in 2046

   A new BC Stats report is projecting that the Cariboo’s population will grow by up to 37.5% by 2046.
   The Sustaining Growth report reflects rends seen in numbers released by Stats Canada in December.
   According to the report, Williams Lake is projected to grow by 3,185 people to 14,569 by 2026.
   That would be a jump of 28 percent.
   Quesnel, currently at 10,198, is expected to hit 13,019 in that time for an increase of 27.9 percent.
   The biggest increase, in terms of percentage, would be in 100 Mile House where there is expected to be a population increase of 762 people up to 2,793.
   The report is projecting that the province’s population will grow to 7.9 million by 2046.
