Crime rates continue to drop in Williams Lake when compared to 2008 levels.
Williams Lake RCMP Inspector, Warren Brown released the results from the 3rd Quarter Report at Tuesday’s City Council meeting.
Brown shares why the report has been compared to stats from 2008.
Property crime rates in Williams Lake have been reduced by more than half since 2008.
Brown shares some of the factors that have contributed to the 57% reduction.
Brown also says there was a 22% drop in calls for service when compared to reports in 2008.
The City of Williams Lake was ranked at number one for crime severity in Canada in 2008.
