A Williams Lake man has been sentenced to some jail time in connection with a police chase in 100 Mile House last year.
27-year old Darwyn Sellars was sentenced to 321 days behind bars.
He will also be on probation for a year and received a 2-year driving prohibition and a 10-year firearms prohibition.
All of that follows a guilty plea by Sellars to several counts including Possession of a Prohibited Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Stolen Property.
Sellars was arrested along with two other suspects in June of 2014.
100 Mile House RCMP were alerted by Clinton police about a theft from a liquor store and were told that three men had escaped in a stolen vehicle from Kamloops.
Police then intercepted the vehicle on Highway 97 just south of Highway 24 but the occupants pulled into a driveway and ran into the bush.
A police dog handler was brought in along with a helicopter and eventually the suspects were taken into custody.
One of the suspects was in possession of sawed-off firearms and ammunition.
