Lakers Car Club Spring Roundup cruising into Williams Lake this weekend

Williams Lake will have a two day event, showcasing vintage and current vehicles for all to see.

The 27th annual Lakers Car Club Spring Roundup will begin this Saturday (May 27th) with a cruise, beginning at the Tourism Discovery Centre, through 11th avenue, Senior Village, Western avenue, Deni House and wrapping up at Sugarcane.

“You’re gonna see cars from the 1920’s to 2023, and there’ll be cars, trucks, possibly some motorcycles.” says Paul Christianson, President of the Lakers Car Club.

For those unable to watch the cruise, Sunday will bring the show and shine with a potential of even more cars to be shown off.

Christianson says the club already has plans for a potential overflow, with a good response on the vehicle pre-registration.

The Show and Shine will take place on Oliver Street and 1st Avenue, with the show beginning at 10:00am.
