Williams Lake has its Business Excellence Award Winners

On Saturday (November 12th), the Business Excellence Awards took place at Thompson River University’s Williams Lake Campus.

The ceremony was to not only bring the community together, but also celebrate small businesses, and their achievements.

The winners that were announced were:

  • Greatest Improvement/Adaptability: Schickworks Signs & Stitches
  • Retail Excellence: Walk-Rite Shoe Store
  • Newsmaker: Sugar Cane Cannabis
  • Tourism Excellence: The Historic Chilcotin Lodge
  • Not-For-Profit: Women’s Contact Society
  • Hugo Stahl Memorial Award: Scott Nelson
  • Ken Wilson Memorial Award: Brian Goodrich
  • Production and Manufacturing Excellence: Red Tomato Pies Ltd.
  • Service Excellence: The Bean Counter Bistro & Coffee

Finally, the Business of the Year Award was presented to Tolko Industries Ltd.
