Environment Canada has ended the fog advisory in the Prince George and Cariboo areas.

Original Story:

Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for the Prince George and Cariboo areas.

According to the weather service, dense fog has developed, and is causing near-zero visibility.

The fog is expected to dissipate later this morning.

A logging truck caught fire while traveling down Garner Road, west of Quesnel during the afternoon of July 31. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and the driver is uninjured. The Incident Commander of the West Fraser Volunteer Fire Department says, the situation could have been a lot worse.
