TRU Williams Lake Campus hosting vaccine clinics and rapid testing for staff and students

Thompson Rivers University will be giving faculty, staff, and students at the Williams Lake campus an opportunity to get vaccinated next week.

The university is hosting a vaccination clinic for students at the Williams Lake campus on September 13th and 14th from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition, rapid testing clinics will be open at the campus starting on September 20th.

These are for asymptomatic faculty, staff and students, and will be overseen by fourth-year nursing students.

Masks are required indoors at TRU campuses, but may be removed if:

  • Working alone in an office
  • Seated and working in a cubicle/study space physically distant from others.
  • Faculty members teaching a class who are able to remain physically distanced from students.
  • Students presenting at the front of a classroom or lecture hall, and are able to remain physically distanced from others.
