The Williams Lake Job Fair will continue Thursday with more than 40 exhibitors at the Cariboo Memorial Complex.
Trinity Sure, who works for one of the co-hosts of the fair-K Tech, says some individuals have already found work!
“I’ve actually had a couple of people leaving the job fair say they got hired on the spot, so full-time positions and everything through some of the employers that are here,” she said.
“It is a really successful event-we’ve had some really good success stories here.”
Sure says although the mines were unable to attend the fair due to layoffs, she encourages all individuals even if they are employed to attend the event.
The job fair which is held every 2 years, runs from 10 am until 3.
