Anahim RCMP Look For Suspects

Anahim Lake RCMP is looking for two suspects following an incident at the Eagle’s Nest Resort.
Police were called to the resort just before 7 on Monday (Sept 29) night regarding a possible robbery.
Two males approached the cashier in an attempt to buy beer but they were refused as they were already intoxicated.
Police say they left to converse in the parking lot which led to the resort owner confronting them and asking them to leave the property.
RCMP say one of the males then allegedly produced a can of bear spray and held it up to the resort owner.
The resort owner was able to flee the scene without getting sprayed.
Police say the suspect then proceeded to kick the front glass door of the building causing the glass to break before fleeing up the road to a getaway vehicle.
Both suspects are identified as First Nations males in their mid 20’s.
Police say one had a small black mustache, was approximately 6’4″ and was wearing a black hoodie with a white stripe on it.
The second suspect is described as being 5 ‘9″ with a medium build.
He had short black hair and was wearing a red hoodie.
The getaway vehicle was an older style grey or light brown colored van.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Anahim Lake RCMP Detachment or Crime Stoppers.
