Suspect uses diversion call to break and enter into pharmacy

Kornak and Hamm’s Pharmacy was broken and entered into Sunday afternoon by a male suspect through a diversion phone.

Williams Lake RCMP Staff Sgt. Del Byron says the suspect had phoned into police that someone was going to go into Signal Point Gaming Centre with a shotgun.

Well, police responded to the report on 1640 Broadway Avenue, the suspect broke and entered into the pharmacy on 366 Yorston St.

Police say despite the suspect’s diversion call, he was arrested with charges against him pending.

RCMP continue to investigate.
