It looks like the West Fraser Road at Deep Creek Hill will finally be re-opened tonight after 5 o’clock.
It has been closed for more than a month due to a land stability issue.
Brad Moores is the Operations Manager for the Ministry of Transportation in Quesnel…
Moores says this is a short-term solution and that they are now working with geotechnical engineers to try and figure out how to reduce movement in the future.
He says they appreciate the public’s patience on this issue as they know that it was an inconvenience to take the detour that was in place.
