Police investigating possible targeted homicide

Williams Lake RCMP are looking to the public for information on what they believe to be a targeted killing.
Police received a call about a disturbance at around 3:45am Sunday  in the 1,000 block of 11th Avenue North.
Once on scene police located 22-year-old Williams Lake resident Corey Huu Le deceased along with a 21-year-old woman who was sent to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
the RCMP say the victim is known to police.
Both the North District Major Crime Section as well as a forensic team are assisting in the investigation.

Accident on Highway 97 On Ramp Closed Section Briefly

A single vehicle merging onto Highway 97 Northbound in Quesnel, hit a traffic pole. Police and the Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department closed the ramp down as the accident was assessed. Only the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with suspected minor injuires.
