Disappearance of PG man being treated as homicide

RCMP, despite the fact a body hasn’t been found, are now treating the disappearance of a missing Prince George man as a homicide.

The investigation into the whereabouts of Jordan McLeod has extended into three different communities including Quesnel and involves more than a hundred police officers.

McLeod was last seen on January 16th after police received a report of shots fired in the Upper Fraser Road area near Highway 16, east of Prince George.

Police say a vehicle was seen leaving the area immediately after the incident and locating the vehicle that Jordan was driving is what the RCMP would like the public’s help with.

It is a 2006 Burgundy Chevy Malibu with the license plate number 163 RNA.

It also has a “Quality Assured Collision and Glass” decal on both doors.

Investigators believe the vehicle could be in a remote area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP or Crimestoppers.
