Quesnel Has Affordable Housing Announcement To Look Forward To

The MLA for Cariboo North is sort of letting half the cat out of the bag when it comes to a major funding announcement in Quesnel next week.

Coralee Oakes is hinting about what’s to come…

“We have two significant announcements that are going to be coming forward really soon through BC Housing. I am so incredibly proud of the volunteers and the groups in the community that have worked so diligently to ensure that the province understood clearly how important seniors housing is in our community.”

Oakes says she can’t say much more at this point other than there will be a significant amount of funding for the two groups.

She says she just wanted the public to know what was coming and Oakes adds that there will be an opportunity for the community to celebrate later in the month.
