Cougars Claw Way Back To Top Spot

The Cariboo Cougars are once again in top spot in the BC Major Midget Hockey League standings.

The Cougars came up with a couple of lopsided victories in Trail over the weekend against the Kootenay Ice…11-1 on Saturday and then 8-1 on Sunday to move 3 points up on 2nd place.

Williams Lake’s Colton Thomas had a big game on Saturday with 2 goals and 3 assists.

He also had a goal on Sunday.

Chase Dubois, from the Lake City as well, had a goal and 3 assists in the two games and Quesnel’s Keith Redden picked up an assist.
