Lengthy Infrastructure Work To Begin April 3rd In Quesnel

City of Quesnel crews will begin infrastructure work later this week.

According to the City of Quesnel’s website, starting Thursday (April 3) they will begin installing new storm sewer, replacing the sidewalk, curb, and gutter, and repaving the 600 block of Walkem Street and Bowron Avenue, from Font Street to Walkem Street.

The City said hospital access via Bowron Avenue and Walkem Street will be restricted during construction and that motorists should use the access at McNaughton Avenue and Front Street.

The project will take place Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm and is expected to last up to four months.
