Female hockey player from Williams Lake to suit up for Queens University

Jada Wood’s hockey journey will reach another level this fall.

The 17-year-old from Williams Lake committed to Queens University in Ontario next season.

Wood, who is in her second season at the Okanagan Hockey Academy, posted 23 points in 29 games this season with the U18 Prep Program.

In 2023-24, Wood tallied 17 points in 29 games.
