Quesnel Sponsor League Crowns This Year’s Champion

It was a David vs Goliath final in the Quesnel Sponsor League of Curling championship.

Teams CDC and Redz Shedz faced each other in the finals Wednesday night.

Both teams had dominated performances and managed to win against each other during the regular season of the Sponsor League.

Team Plant came out the gate red hot, as they had all season. Taking an early lead.

However, it was CDC who took the win, staging a comeback to defeat Redz Shedz and be crowned champions of this year’s Sponsor League.

There will be more curling in Quesnel this weekend.

The St. Patty’s Day Bonspiel at the curling centre will have 20 teams competing, and begins March 14, and runs until March 16.
