One person was sent to hospital following a single vehicle rollover on Highway 97 near Begbie Summit.
100 Mile House RCMP Sargeant Brian Lamb said police attended the scene yesterday (December 9) along with Emergency Health Service and local Fire Departments.
Upon arrival a single occupant was found trapped inside.
“The occupant had to be extracted from the vehicle by responders.” Lamb said, “The driver sustained injuries that were suspected to be serious and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
Lamb said the cause of the collision is not known at this time.
