City Furniture and Appliances and Ashley Quesnel donated $1,500 to the Quesnel and District Hospice Palliative Care Association, on Thursday, December 5.
“As an organization and a family, we support palliative care. They provide such a necessity in our community,” says Parveen Pannu, COO of City Furniture and Appliances and Ashley Furniture. “People who are going through a hard time, they make it a comfortable place for families to spend that extra time with their loved ones.”
The funds will be used to purchase foldable cot mattresses and other essential supplies that provide comfort for patients and families.
